Designed to hold a myriad of collections, the new contemporary space ranks high within Miami’s art district. Mechanical/vibration noise control consulting services were included within ED+A’s scope of work for this dynamic project.

American Museum of Natural History – Renovation -
Graduate & Post Graduate Wing, New York, NY (2008)

For the 5,000 sf Graduate and Post Graduate Wing of this facility, known world wide for its massive size and extensive collection of artifacts, ED+A provided room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical/vibration noise control services. The renovation included a lecture hall, a two-story graduate center with mezzanine, a teaching lab and administrative spaces.

Cummer Museum - Renovation
Jacksonville, FL (2009)

The Cummer Museum Building addition included a multi-function ballroom, a raised stage, reception court, loggia and backstage support spaces. ED+A provided room acoustics, mechanical/vibration noise control, and sound isolation services for the renovation project.

Poets House @ Battery Park City Library & Learning Center
New York, NY (2009)

Located in lower Manhattan, the Poets House offers one of the most comprehensive collections of poetry which is available in all mediums in the United States. Room acoustics, mechanical/vibration noise control, and AV design consulting services were provided by ED+A for the entire facility, including the auditorium, lobby, and conference rooms.

Florida International University - The Wolfsonian Museum
Miami Beach, FL (2009)

Located in Miami's Art Deco district, this eye-catching building houses art and designcollections, many dating back to 1885, from North America and Europe. ED+A provided acoustical consulting services and sound measurement studies for the museum and lobby areas.
